The Introduction" EP by Nerdy G, initially planned as a four-track project, eventually crystallized into three tracks that are a testament to his narrative and musical evolution: "On My Grind," "Problems," and "Only Human." This deliberate selection was more than just trimming; it was a deep dive into the essence of Nerdy G's journey and the story he wanted to tell through his music. "On My Grind" starts the EP, introducing listeners to his relentless dedication and passion for his craft. Following suit, "Problems" merges catchy hooks with meaningful lyrics, creating a sound that's as thought-provoking as it is rhythmically engaging.
"Only Human" brings a unique dimension to the EP, not just through its introspective lyrics but also with its striking music video. Filmed in a manmade castle in upstate New York, the video features Nerdy G in the guise of a king. This visual narrative choice poignantly underscores the song's message: even those in the highest places of power face the same vulnerabilities and emotions that define the human condition.
